WSET Level 1 Award in Wines
This course is designed as an introduction to the basics of winemaking, classic grape varieties, and the wonderful world of tasting. We will discuss the components of wine, grape varieties, plus food and wine pairing. This is the foundational class for building up to WSET Level 2, 3, and beyond. WSET 1 is a 3-week class meeting once a week for 3 hours. Classes are scheduled on a rolling basis- if you don’t see a date that works for your schedule, check back soon- we are always adding classes! We also offer 1-day intensives for this course.
WSET 1 culminates with a 30-question multiple-choice exam. We will give you all the tools to pass, including a PDF textbook and wines to taste throughout the course.
